Cafetto - EVO Espresso Machine Cleaner

The certified-organic backflush cleaner for traditional espresso machines.

Cafetto EVO® was the first espresso machine cleaner to earn certification from an organic certification body. It is OMRI listed for the USDA National Organic Program and BFA registered under the Australian Organic Standard, and it is formulated without phosphates or chlorine. That makes it a natural fit for cafés and home baristas serving organic coffee.

What It Does

EVO® is a fast-dissolving powder that removes coffee oils, grounds and stains from the group head, shower screen, portafilter and baskets. It rinses away completely, leaving no residue or odour behind.

Compatibility

Designed for traditional espresso machines with a 3-way solenoid valve, including most E61, ECM, Profitec, Rocket, Lelit, La Marzocco and Rancilio machines.

How to Use

• Backflush: add one dose to the portafilter fitted with a blind basket, then run your machine's backflush cycle (typically 10 seconds on, 10 seconds off, 5 to 6 times).
• Rinse: repeat the same cycle with water only.
• Soak: for stubborn buildup, soak the portafilter and baskets in hot water with EVO® for about 10 minutes, then rinse well.
• Re-season: pull and discard one espresso before serving again.

Which Size?

• 500 g: a good starting point for home baristas cleaning weekly, with well over 50 cleaning cycles per jar.
• 1 kg: better suited to frequent cleaning, shared or commercial machines, or buying in bulk.
